Physics 111  College Physics 1

This is a first semester course in college physics. The course covers motion, vector analysis, Newton’ Laws, Principles of Work and Energy, thermodynamics, and sound and waves. This course is offered both fall and spring semester.

Physics 112 College Physics 2

This is a continuation of Physics 111. Topics include electric and magnetic fields, ac and dc circuits, light, optics, and atomic physics. This course is offered spring semester.

 

Physics 221  Physics for scientists and engineers.

This is a first semester calculus based course in physics intended for students who will be going on to study physics, chemistry, engineering, or other science related fields. Topics will include motion, vector analysis, Newton’ Laws, Principles of Work and Energy, Thermodynamics, Mechanical Vibrations,Sound and Waves. This course is offered fall semester

 

Physics 222 Physics for scientists and engineers II

This is a continuation of Physics 221. Topics will include electric and magnetic fields, ac and dc circuits, light, optics, and atomic physics. This course is offered spring semester.
